The TDP leadership has decided to conduct its prestigious annual conclave, Mahanadu, in a hybrid format on May 27 and 28 at the party’s central office in Mangalagiri instead of the previously planned three-day event in Nellore.
According to party sources, the two-day Mahanadu will be organised with a combination of physical and virtual participation. Senior leaders, including members of the Polit Bureau, Central Committee, State Committee and official spokespersons, will attend the event physically at the party headquarters.
Meanwhile, MLAs, MLCs, Ministers, MPs and party cadre from various constituencies will participate virtually from their respective locations. Arrangements are also being made for leaders and activists from all 1,848 party clusters to join the programme online from designated cluster centres.
The party leadership has decided to follow all traditional Mahanadu procedures, including discussions and resolutions, while adapting the event to the hybrid format.
The annual Mahanadu is considered the most important organisational event of the TDP, where key political resolutions, policy directions and future strategies are usually announced.
