The Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple trust board, Srisailam, decided to construct permanent public toilet complexes equipped with all necessary amenities at a total of 20 identified locations within the temple precincts under BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model. These locations were selected based on the volume of pilgrim traffic in those areas and the works would be completed within the next six months, a press release stated.
The sixth meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) with chairman Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu and some members participating via video conference, while Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao, along with other members and special invitees participated in person at the Administration building in Srisailam.
