Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan responded swiftly after a disturbing video went viral online showing an immigrant worker from Valmikipuram of Annamayya district stranded in Muscat, pleading for help.
The worker, identified as Shehnaz, spoke in distress, alleging that she was being physically assaulted and denied even basic necessities such as food and water. In her appeal, she urged Mr. Pawan Kalyan to rescue her from the ordeal and bring her back to India. Moved by her situation, the Deputy Chief Minister intervened, directing the concerned officials to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Oman.
