In Virudhunagar district, the counting of votes of all the seven Assembly constituencies would be taken up at VSVNP college.

The counting of votes would start with counting of postal ballots at 8 a.m. A total of four tables would be used for counting of the postal votes. One additional table would be put for counting of service votes.

Later, at 8.30 a.m., the control units of EVMs would be taken up for counting on 14 tables. In Virudhunagar district, the counting would be taken up for 17 to 19 rounds.
