The judicial commission, led by retired Kerala High Court judge C.N. Ramachandran Nair, investigating the Mundathikode fireworks tragedy visited the accident site and interacted with survivors and eyewitnesses on Wednesday.
The commission also visited the Government Medical College Hospital, Thrissur, where the injured are undergoing treatment, and recorded their statements. Justice Ramachandran Nair emphasised that gathering eyewitness accounts, along with scientific examination, would be crucial in establishing the exact cause of the blast.
