A. Narayanan assumed charge as the Principal Chief Personnel Officer of Southern Railway on Friday. Mr. Narayanan succeeds K. Harikrishnan, who retired in March this year. Mr. Narayanan, an officer from the 1998 batch of the Indian Railway Personnel Service, was previously the Chief Personnel Officer (Admin) of Southern Railway. During his distinguished career, he has held several key assignments, including Senior Divisional Personnel Officer at the Tinsukia Division of Northeast Frontier Railway and Senior Divisional Personnel Officer at the Chennai Division of Southern Railway.
