G. Trinadh Kumar, a senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, officially took charge as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, on Wednesday.

A member of the IFS (AGMUT cadre) 2002 batch, Dr. Kumar brings more than two decades of diverse administrative and technical experience to the role. His career spans critical sectors including forestry, environmental wildlife management, and biodiversity conservation. Notably, he has also held significant positions overseeing Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and Export Oriented Units (EOU), providing him with a unique blend of regulatory and organisational expertise.
