A Cabinet reshuffle in Karnataka is likely after the formation of Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) government in Kerala, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dinesh Gundu Rao said in Mangaluru on Friday, May 8.
He told reporters that the Congress high command is expected to decide on the Cabinet reshuffle. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will announce the date for the reshuffle.
Mr. Rao refused to comment on the statement by Congress leader D.K. Suresh about “sweet news” on May 15. He also did not comment on the question of whether he is in contention for the post of Chief Minister.
