Three migrant workers were arrested for behaving inappropriately with women in Purasawalkam on Tuesday. 

City police said two women from Thideer Nagar in Purasawalkam were walking towards a medical shop on Purasawalkam High Road to purchase medicine when three migrant workers, who were natives of Nepal, behaved improperly with them in an inebriated state.

Seeing this, the women sought help from the locals, who immediately apprehended the three and thrashed them. Upon being alerted, the TP Chatram police arrested the three persons: Sushil Ghaini, Jansal, and Karthik. All three are residents of Vellalar Street. Later, they were produced before a judicial magistrate and sent to prison.
