Six TASMAC wine retail outlets in Thanjavur district are likely to be shut down following the recent government order.
According to official sources, the district TASMAC unit has identified six shops located within 500 metres from places of worship, educational institutions and bus stands in the district.
Two shops each at Thanjavur and Pattukottai and one each at Kumbakonam and Adhiramapattinam have been identified for closure.
