The Graduation Day ceremony of MBA and MCA graduates of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) was held at its premises in Mysuru on Friday.
Secretary of Vidya Vikas Educational Trust, Mysuru, Kaveesh Gowda, who declared the Graduation Day ceremony open, congratulated the graduates on their academic accomplishments and advised them to uphold professional ethics, institutional values, and social responsibility in their future careers.
The programme featured two eminent guests — Sridhar Aranala, Chief S&D Officer (Sales and Distribution), The Hindu Group, and Rajeev Sharma, former Chief Strategy Officer, Mitsubishi Electric Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Aranala, in his address to the graduates, highlighted the importance of identifying individual strengths and talents in today’s competitive world. He encouraged students to face challenges with determination and to view failures as opportunities for growth and learning.
Mr. Sharma, while addressing the gathering, motivated the graduates to become responsible leaders by continuously enhancing their knowledge, leadership qualities, and professional competencies. He emphasised the importance of self-discipline, confidence, and lifelong learning in achieving personal and professional success.
The highlight of the event, organised jointly by the Department of Management Studies and the Department of Computer Applications, was the formal conferring of degrees and certificates to the graduating students of MBA and MCA programmes. University rank holders and academic achievers were also honoured for their outstanding academic performance and achievements.
The Graduation Oath was administered by the principal of VVIET, Karibasappa Kwadiki. Dean, Department of Computer Applications, Nagasundara K.B. and dean, Department of Management Studies, Kiran Kumar Thoti were also present on the occasion.
