The wet spell on Saturday brought some relief to the northern parts of the State, where all districts, except for Anakapalli, have reported deficit rainfall. The State’s deficit stands at 27.5%. More rain may be in store for this region for three days from July 1, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD)-Amaravati.

Another upper air cyclonic circulation lies over west-central Bay of Bengal and its adjoining south Coastal Andhra Pradesh at 5.8 km above mean sea level, according to the IMD.
