Ten people were injured after a KSRTC superfast bus collided with a container lorry near Kallambalam in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
The accident occurred around 6.45 a.m. at Kadampattukonam amid a light drizzle. According to the police, the Thrissur-Thiruvananthapuram KSRTC bus is suspected to have lost control before crashing into the lorry travelling in the same direction.
The police and fire and rescue service personnel, along with local residents, carried out rescue operations at the scene. All the injured were shifted to the Parippally Government Medical College Hospital for treatment. The police said that none of the injured is in serious condition.
