The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 22 Telangana districts on Thursday.

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are very likely at isolated places in Nizamabad, Jayshankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkunrool districts.

Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 37C and 26C, respectively,” the bulletin said.
