GEM Hospital has launched a comprehensive IVF centre and an onco-fertility programme in Coimbatore to provide integrated fertility and cancer-related reproductive care.

According to a release, the GEM IVF Centre, functioning under the hospital’s Endogynaecology Department, will offer personalised fertility treatment, advanced embryo selection, and specialised care for complex and failed IVF cases. The department is led by Dr. Sai Darshini and Dr. Saadhvi Balaji under the leadership of Dr. Kavita Yogini.

The hospital has also introduced a fertility preservation programme for women undergoing cancer treatment, enabling oocyte freezing before chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

Hospital authorities said the integrated facility would provide cancer treatment, fertility preservation, and IVF services under one roof.
