A 26-year-old man allegedly killed a couple in Srikakulam district over suspicion of performing witchcraft against his minor daughter, which he believed to have led to her prolonged illness.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday in a tribal village under Gottipalli Panchayat, within the Kothuru police station limits. The deceased have been identified as S. Allanga, 48, and S. Jyothi, 45.
