Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Saturday stood at 112.55 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 174 cusecs and a discharge of 356 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 31.50 feet (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 225 cusecs and a discharge of 86 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 1,686.48 mcft. Rainfall recorded in last 24 hours (in mm): Periyar 8.6, Pullipatti 6.2, Thekkadi 4.2, Viraganur 3.2, Idayapatti 2, Shanmuganadhi 1.4, and Uthamapalayam 1.2.
