In 1985, a letter to The Hindu on Nageswara Rao Park read, “What happened to the clusters of chrysanthemum which bobbed so colourfully? The park has become a rendezvous for rowdies after night-fall.”
Four decades on, users lament the condition of the park, exacerbated by the delay in the completion of beautification work by the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC).
