The Sivaganga district with four constituencies witnessed the loss of sitting MLAs in all four constituencies. Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam candidates emerged victorious in all segments.
The four constituencies – Sivaganga, Karaikudi, Tiruppattur and Manamadurai (SC) - which had AIADMK, Congress and DMK MLAs, fell to the TVK wave which has swept the State.
