A meeting held to accelerate the long-pending expansion of Mysuru airport on Saturday focused on resolving land acquisition bottlenecks, with Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraya Wadiyar, Mysuru MP, issuing directions to various government agencies to clear the pending issues without delay.
The meeting on ‘Development of Mysuru airport’ convened by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at the airport community hall, brought together key stakeholders, including G.T. Devegowda, Chamundeshwari MLA, Airport director P.V. Usha Kumari, senior district and police officials, and representatives from agencies such as NHAI, KPTCL, Southern Railway, KIADB and the Irrigation Department.
