A quack, Jaya of Katchaikatti near Vadipatti, has been booked by Vadipatti police for running a clinic and providing allopathic treatment to patients without any valid medical qualification, on Saturday.
Chief Medical Officer of Vadipatti, Dhanasekaran, along with Drug Inspector Muthulakshmi conducted a joint inspection of the private clinic and found that Jaya had studied up to only class 10.
