The examination was held on April 23 across 14 streams for diploma holders and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates seeking lateral entry into the second year of engineering and pharmacy degree courses. Preliminary answer keys were released after the examination, and objections from students were accepted till April 29.

After scrutiny by an expert key verification committee, the final keys were prepared and the results processed accordingly. Officials said only a few objections were received, and changes were made in five pharmacy questions in the afternoon session.
