Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu credited the ‘Business Reformer of the Year, 2025’ award he had received recently to ‘Team A.P,’ stating that the honour belonged to all — from the Chief Secretary to the grasssroots officers.
His observation during the 7th Collectors’ Conference came on Thursday as Ministers and officials rose to applaud the Chief Minister for receiving the award.
Reflecting on the past, he noted, “Two years ago, people spoke differently about Andhra Pradesh. Today, the perception has completely changed.”
While once reluctant to accept public accolades, Mr. Naidu now views them as vital signals that shape investor sentiment and bolster the State’s global image.
The highlight of the conference came when Mr. Naidu bypassed statistics to share a nostalgic memory.
He recalled how, during his college days, a Royal Enfield motorcycle was the ultimate symbol of aspiration. “Today, we have succeeded in bringing the Royal Enfield company to Andhra Pradesh,” he said with a smile.
This anecdote anchored his broader message: the State is no longer merely chasing investments but is actively rebuilding its identity.
Backed by 26 new policies and the P4 initiative (Public-Private-People Partnership), the government aimed to restoring confidence at both national and international levels, he said.
