VMRDA chairman M.V. Pranav Gopal and Metropolitan commissioner N. Tej Bharat have directed officials to accelerate the construction of priority Master Plan roads designed to provide connectivity to the Bhogapuram International Airport.

The chairman and commissioner conducted a joint inspection on Monday morning to review the ongoing BT road works stretching from Nerellavalasa to Tallavalasa. During the visit, they interacted with the engineering team to assess the current progress of the project.

The officials instructed the department to ensure all road works are completed within the stipulated deadlines. A clear warning was issued that there should be no compromise on the quality of construction materials or execution. Out of the seven major roads undertaken by VMRDA, three have already reached completion. The remaining roads are scheduled to be finished by the end of June, a release stated.
