Samsung Solve for Tomorrow

Samsung India has launched Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2026 and invites young innovators to develop impactful solutions for real-world challenges. This edition will run as a six-month competition across four distinct themes, with each track evaluated independently. The tracks are AI Living for India; Health & Education; Sport and Tech, and Environmental Sustainability.

Researchers from NIT Rourkela including Prof. Syed Nasimul Alam, Arka Ghosh, Ashutosh Das, Pankaj Shrivastava, Nityananda Sahoo, Parth Patel, and Velaphi Msomi of University of South Africa, developed a nanocomposite material for durable aircraft landing gear. The findings were published in Materials Letters.

Research scholar Tulumoni Gogoi from Nagaland University and Pradeep Kumar Rawat from  Asian International University, Manipur, have published a study in Discover GeoScience on using geospatial technology to mitigate soil erosion in India’s North-Eastern hilly region.

The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre, Department of Space, signed MoUs with Kaushalya The Skill University, Ahmedabad and the New Age Makers Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, to build a future-ready talent ecosystem for India’s expanding space sector.
