A special drive was conducted over the past week across the Avadi Police Commissionerate limits to curb ganja and narcotic-related activities.

A total of 30 surveillance teams with 100 police personnel, after a briefing by the Commissioner of Police, Avadi, were deployed at 128 identified blackspots to monitor drug-related activities, collect intelligence, and identify drug sellers and consumers.
