Two contract priests at the famed Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Vontimitta in Kadapa district landed in trouble after they met YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy during his visit to Pulivendula constituency on Wednesday.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) management, which came to know of the development through a post by the YSRCP’s social media wing, demanded an explanation from the priests, as the TTD staff/priests taking part in private engagements was explicitly prohibited under the conduct rules.
