Srisailam temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao has asked the temple staff and workers to aim for a 90% positive response from devotees with regards to darshan arrangements, drinking water facilities, annaprasadam and free prasadam distribution, restroom maintenance, and overall sanitation management.
The EO held a review meeting with regards to the facilities provided by the temple management with officials of all departments, supervisors, relevant staff members, and cooks on Wednesday.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that the State Institute of Temple Administration (SITA) of the Endowments Department had already conducted training programmes for temple cooks. He instructed them to prepare the annaprasadam and the temple prasadam strictly in accordance with the prescribed standards.
Stressing on attention to standardisation of culinary preparations. He emphasised that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) must be strictly followed while cooking. The EO directed the use of fresh vegetables, cut uniformly to be used while preparing annaprasadam.
He also stressed on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen premises, and asked staff members to interact with devotees with respect during the distribution of annaprasadam.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao also held a meeting with the Shiva Sevaks, during which he said that individuals interested in volunteering could register directly through the online portal. He said the temple management to issue temporary identity cards to Shiva Sevaks during the period they perform their duties.
