In CIT Colony, one of Chennai’s earliest planned residential localities in Teynampet Zone, residents have raised concerns about increasing commercial activity, traffic congestion, unauthorised parking, lack of civic amenities, and foul odour from a recently opened pumping station.

The CIT Colony Residents’ Welfare Association had submitted a representation to the candidates of the Mylapore and Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni Assembly constituencies.
