Ernakulam district recorded an overall pass percentage of 99.61 in the SSLC examinations, the results of which were announced on Friday.
The pass percentage in 2025 was 99.76%. A total of 260 schools achieved 100% success this time. Of them, 81 were government schools, 133 were aided schools, and 46 unaided schools, according to an official communication.
Of the 30,578 students who appeared for the exam, 30,458 became eligible for higher studies. Of the students who became eligible for higher studies, 14,809 were girls and 15,649 were boys. As many as 2,203 students won A+ in all subjects. Of them, 1,553 were girls and 650 were boys.
In the educational sub-district-wise category, Muvattupuzha topped with a total pass percentage of 99.77%. Of the 3, 479 students who appeared for the exam, 3,471 cleared it. As many as 352 students secured A+ in all subjects.
Aluva educational sub-district secured a total pass percentage of 99.71. Of the 11,691 students who appeared for the exam, 11,657 became eligible for higher studies. As many as 930 students secured A+ in all subjects.
Of the 10,149 students who appeared for the exam under Ernakulam educational sub-district, 10,084 became eligible for higher studies. The total pass percentage was 99.36. As many as 568 students secured A+ in all subjects.
Kothamangalam educational sub-district secured a total pass percentage of 99.75. Of the 5,259 students who appeared for the exam, 5,246 became eligible for higher studies. As many as 353 students won A+ in all subjects.
