A total of 1,48,950 candidates have qualified for admission to diploma courses across Andhra Pradesh after the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2026 recorded a pass percentage of 91.37%.
According to the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), 1,63,008 students appeared for the examination held on April 25, 2026, out of 1,77,581 registered candidates. The turnout was the highest in the history of POLYCET, with over 23,000 more candidates writing the test compared to last year, the SBTET said.
