The Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), Visakhapatnam, has invited applications for its two-year, fully residential trade courses: “Vessel Navigator” and “Marine Fitter”.

Formulated under the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS), these programmes are open to candidates who have cleared Class 10 and are below 20 years of age, with a five-year relaxation for SC/ST applicants.

Selection will be based on an All India Common Entrance Test (CET) covering English, Mathematics, and General Science.

Admitted candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,500/- from the Centre. The curriculum offers extensive practical training in marine engineering, navigation, and fish processing, facilitating career opportunities on fishing vessels and shore establishments.
