Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao has welcomed the State government’s move to recognise and promote meritorious Class X students from government schools.

The State government on Friday (May 1, 2026) released advertisements in newspapers highlighting toppers from government schools across the State. “For years, such visibility had been confined to private and corporate institutions, and the extension of this recognition to students from government schools signals a meaningful shift in priorities,” Mr. Rao said.
