The academic year had already begun when 13-year-old Shaurya’s schooling came to an abrupt halt. Enrolled at a school in Sus, Pune, he returned from summer vacation in June 2025 expecting routine classes. Instead, a day before reopening, his mother, Vaibhavi Khode, and some other parents, were called to the school. They were informed that the school could not operate from the campus due to issues with its CBSE affiliation.
