The Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) has officially launched Dentic World Private Limited, India’s first dedicated dental MedTech startup and an innovation hub in Visakhapatnam.
The launch is a milestone for India’s dental industry, which currently grapples with a heavy 85–90% reliance on imported equipment and materials. This dependency has historically led to high costs, long lead times, and limited customization for local clinics, according to an official release here on Saturday.
