Led by Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan, the Union Territory paid rich tributes to the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary on Thursday. The Lt. Governor, legislators and senior officials, including Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan offered floral tributes to the statue of the former Prime Minister. They also attended an all religious prayer meeting at the Rajiv Gandhi statue. Senior legislator representing AINRC Rajavelou administered the anti-terrorism pledge.
