Incomplete storm water drain (SWD) works in Chromepet have caused inconvenience to residents and traders, with a key stretch left unfinished for over two weeks, disrupting daily movement.
Tambaram City Municipal Corporation has been taking up reconstruction of damaged stormwater drains as part of flood mitigation measures. However, in Ward 38 near the Hasthinapuram Government School, work on Janakiraman Road has been left halfway, with one portion completed using covered concrete channels while the remaining stretch lies dug up and unattended.
