All arrangements for the assembly election vote counting have been completed, District Election Officer and Collector Dineshan Cheruvatt has said.

Counting is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Monday. Votes for the district’s five constituencies - Idukki, Devikulam, Udumbanchola, Peerumade, and Thodupuzha-will be processed across three centres. The counting centre for Thodupuzha, Idukki, and Udumbanchola is the Painavu Ekalavya Model Residential School. For the Peerumade constituency, counting will take place at Mariyagiri English Medium School, while Munnar Government Higher Secondary School will serve as the centre for Devikulam constituency.
