Coastal Kings Mangaluru scored an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Shivamogga Yodhas in a rain affected match of the DACSS Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 cricket tournament here on Sunday (June 28, 2026).

The match was reduced to 17 overs a side. Shivamogga Yodhas could manage only 113 for eight, which led to a second successive defeat. Coastal Kings pacer V. Koushik (2/15) and debutant left-arm spinner B.R. Rathan (3/16) came good with the ball. 

Coastal Kings reached the revised target in just 12.4 overs to record a third victory in five matches. The win helped the side move to second spot on the table behind Bengaluru Blasters.

Coastal Kings openers M. Venkatesh (45, 25b, 4x4, 3x6) and Nikin Jose (31, 25b, 2x4, 2x6) added 81 runs in just 7.5 overs to effectively put the match to bed.
