The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has received both international and national recognition for its initiatives in employee training and public transport innovation.

In a statement, KSRTC said it was conferred the Golden Globe Tigers Awards 2026 under the “Excellence in Training” category at a ceremony held on May 20 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The award recognises the corporation’s structured training programmes and transparent recruitment process. Over the past year, around 18,600 employees have undergone training, contributing to improved organisational performance. The corporation also highlighted that its recruitment process from application to depot deployment has been streamlined to eliminate human intervention and ensure uniformity.
