There is no shortage of medicines in the district, and health officials at the district and taluk levels have enough funds under the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka programme, said Zilla Panchayat CEO Rahul Shindhe in Belagavi recently.
Addressing officials at the Belagavi District Health Society meeting, he cautioned them to instruct doctors and staff to make judicious use of medicines in taluk hospitals, community and primary health centres. He asked them to properly record the purchased medicines through the e-portal and to act in time so that the public does not face medicine shortage.
