Two minor children drowned after accidentally falling into a farm pond at Togarihatti village in Doddaballapur taluk on Sunday.

The victims were identified as Daksha, 11, and her younger brother Dhanush. 4. According to the police, the children had gone out to play while their parents were away. During this time, they accidentally fell into an agricultural pond and drowned.

Police officials stated that the pond belongs to a local farmer, Gurumurthy. Preliminary investigations revealed that the pond lacked protective fencing and other essential safety measures.
