Prakasam district administration has expedited steps to resolve the issue of lands in the Section 22A prohibited list. District Revenue Officer (DRO) B. Chinna Obulesu announced that around 591 applications were received from the people of three revenue divisions in the district, complaining that their lands were mistakenly listed in prohibited properties under Section 22A.

Assuring the applicants that those lands would be removed from the 22A list after verification, he said, “As per the instructions of District Collector P. Raja Babu, we are verifying the applications along with the Tahsildars at the Collectorate every week. The land details were being brought to the district headquarters through the Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs) and Sub-Collectors.”

The DRO said that necessary steps are being taken to resolve the applications as quickly as possible without any pending issues.
