Inter supplementary exam scheduled on May 28 postponed to...
2026-05-22 · via The Hindu: Latest News today from India and the World, Breaking news, Top Headlines and Trending News Videos.

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, has postponed certain examinations of the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE), May 2026, following the State government’s declaration of May 28, 2026, as a public holiday on account of Bakrid (Eid al-Adha).

In a statement issued on Friday, Board Secretary P. Ranjit Basha said the examinations scheduled for May 28 have been rescheduled to June 5, 2026, to avoid inconvenience to students amid the ongoing higher education admission process.

According to the revised schedule, the first-year General Economics Paper-I and Vocational Bridge Course Mathematics Paper-I/Biological Sciences Paper-I examinations will be conducted in the morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on June 5. The second-year General Mathematics Paper-IIB and Vocational Bridge Course Mathematics Paper-II/Biological Sciences Paper-II examinations will be held on the same day in the afternoon session from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

The Board also postponed the mandatory Ethics and Human Values Examination, which was earlier scheduled for June 5. The examination will now be conducted on June 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mr. Basha clarified that candidates should appear for the examinations with the same hall tickets already issued to them. He said there would be no change in the examination centres and added that all other examinations would be conducted as per the previously announced timetable.

The Board directed all Regional Inspection Officers (RIOs), District Intermediate Education Officers (DIEOs), principals and examination officials to give wide publicity to the revised schedule to ensure that students are informed about the changes.
