New Director of Dharwad Rangayana Zakir Nadaf plans to organise multi-language drama festivals and restart the Rangadhwani programme in the coming days.
Speaking to presspersons after taking charge in Dharwad on Thursday, Mr. Nadaf said that in the coming days, theatre activities will be further strengthened by providing platform to young talents and increasing cultural activities in Dharwad.
Mr. Nadaf said that he plans to hold district-level drama festivals in the region apart from restarting the Rangadhwani programme which is stalled.
He said that it will be easier to hold more theatre activities if the people support theatre activities just like they patronise films of various languages.
