As the new entrant Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam has caused a major disruption in the political landscape of Tamil Nadu many of the political party leaders including the DMK President M.K. Stalin and Naam Tamilar Katchi Chief Coordinator Seeman has fallen prey to the sweep. 

Mr. Seeman, who attempted to try his luck in his native district - Karaikudi constituency – this elections faced a massive loss by falling behind TVK, Congress, AMMK.
