The additional flight operations between Mysuru and Hyderabad will commence from May 1.
According to a statement from Mysuru airport, one new arrival and one new departure service between Hyderabad (HYD) and Mysuru (MYQ) will commence operations from May 1 as per the enhancement of its domestic connectivity under the revised Summer Schedule.
The newly introduced Flight 6E7047 (HYD- MYQ) will depart Hyderabad at 12.20 p.m and arrive in Mysuru at 2.00 p.m, while the Flight 6E7048 (MYQ - HYD) will depart from Mysuru at 2.20 p.m and arrive in Hyderabad at 4.00 p.m.
“These flights will operate on a daily basis, significantly improving connectivity between Mysuru and Hyderabad and offering greater flexibility for passengers,” the statement said.
In addition to the newly introduced flight services, the existing flights between Mysuru and Hyderabad and Mysuru and Chennai will continue to operate as per the summer schedule, the statement said.
“With the addition of these new movements, Mysuru airport will witness an increase in flight operations, further strengthening regional connectivity and supporting economic and tourism growth in the region,” said the statement from Mysuru airport.
To mark the commencement of the new Hyderabad–Mysuru service, an inauguration ceremony will be held at Mysuru Airport at 12 p.m on May 1 in the presence of Mysuru MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and MLA representing Chamundeshwari assembly constituency G. T. Deve Gowda.
