Two first-year college students were killed in an accident after a transformer exploded and caught fire near Sriperumbudur in Kancheepuram district on Thursday.
The deceased — Delhi Ganesh, 17, and Dakshinamurthy, 17, from Sirumangadu village — were students of a private college in the area.
