Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha inaugurated the new Kankipadu and Athkur police station buildings in Krishna district on Monday (May 11, 2026). The Minister, who toured the new stations, said that the model police stations were built with all necessary facilities, including waiting halls, reception areas, and toilets. Minister Kollu Ravindra, Gannavaram MLA Yarlagadda Venkat Rao, Penamaluru MLA Bode Prasad, Eluru Range IGP G.V.G. Ashok Kumar, SP V. Vidyasagar Naidu and others attended the programme.
