The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board on Thursday declared the results of the II PUC exam-2, which recorded a pass percentage of 45.65. In exam-1, the State achieved 86.52% results.

With this, the overall/consolidated results of II PU this year have reached 92.25%. Compared to the 2025 consolidated results, it is an improvement of seven percentage points.

Around 80,535 students had appeared for exam-2, and of those, 36,764 passed. The highest number of students who appeared for exam-2 were from the Arts stream with 33,451, followed by Commerce with 23,615 and Science with 23,469. The Science stream boasts the highest pass percentage at 50.79%, followed by Arts with 43.72% and Commerce with 43.27%.

Exam-2 was held from April 30 to May 13 at 253 exam centres. According to the consolidated results this year, a total of 96% students passed in the Science stream, followed by 92.84% in Commerce and 83.31% in Arts.

In exam-2, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 47, as against the 45 achieved by boys.

In exam-2, as many as 62 students achieved distinction, 8,086 students achieved first class results and 16,940 students passed with second class. The highest number of centums was achieved in Mathematics, with 315 students earning perfect scores. This was followed by Chemistry, where 75 students achieved centums, and Physics, with 61 students. In Biology, 36 students secured centums, while 48 students did so in Computer Science. Additionally, 60 students scored full marks in Kannada.

Students interested in obtaining a scanned copy of their answer scripts may apply from May 21 to 23. The scanned copies will be available for download from May 22 to 24. Additionally, students can request revaluation and retotalling from May 22 to 25.
